Assisted living facilities are required to provide various in-service training to facility staff. Each individual in-service training requirement may vary due to differences in staff qualifications. The following list identifies the six (6) in-service training requirements pursuant to Chapter 58A-5.0191(2), F.A.C. The six in-service training requirements are intended to be provided by the ALF administrator or manager; however, the in-services may also be obtained from qualified training providers , or persons who have successfully completed the ALF Core Training Program.
1. Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and Facility Sanitation Procedures
