Liability Insurance Requirements

Pursuant to Chapter 400.411(6), F.S., assisted living facility license applicants shall provide proof of liability insurance as part of the application process. In addition, licensed assisted living facilities are required to maintain liability coverage at all times. Failure to maintain liability insurance coverage may result in a revocation of the facility’s license.
